VISA FACILITATION AGREEMENT for Albanian Citizens

The purpose of the Agreement is to facilitate, on the basis of reciprocity, the issuance of visas for an intended stay of no more than 90 days per period of 180 days to the citizens of the Republic of Albania.
This agreement does not apply for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Ireland, The Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Iceland and the Kingdom of Norway. The agreement defines a number of simplified procedures (facilitations) for issuing visas.

2. THE "SCHENGEN VISA"
(ΠΡΟΣΟΧΗ: ακριβώς το ίδιο καθεστώς ισχύει για ταξίδια με το Ε.Δ.Τ.Ο + δικαίωμα εργασίας και μόνιμης εγκατάστασης υπό προϋποθέσεις και αίτηση στην χώρα μετανάστευσης)
In total 24 States apply Regulation No 539/2001 and have a full common visa policy which goes beyond the list of third countries whose nationals are subject to visa obligation. These are the "Schengen States": Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.
A visa issued by one of these 24 countries is valid, in principle, not just for the country which issued it, but also for the other 23 countries.
The visa sticker, which looks the same for all Schengen States, bears the words "valid for Schengen States". Alphanumeric codes also indicate the country in which the visa was issued.
The procedures and conditions of issue for Schengen visas are set out in the Common Consular Instructions, published in Official Journal C 326 of 22 December 2005.
Υ.Γ. Σε περίπτωση που η Αλβανία ανταποδώσει την χρέωση της VISA από χώρες τις Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (35 EURO) προς τους Αλβανούς πολίτες, τότε όσοι δεν διαθέτουν αλβανικό διαβατήριο θα πρέπει να πληρώνουν 35 EURO όταν επισκέπτονται την πατρίδα.
