Αθήνα- Ομόφωνα εγκρίθηκε από την επιτροπή Άμυνας της Βουλής το νομοσχέδιο που κυρώνει την ελληνο-αλβανική συμφωνία για την κατασκευή νεκροταφείων για τους πεσόντες του αλβανικού μετώπου

Την ομόφωνη έγκριση της επιτροπής Άμυνας της Βουλής, εξασφάλισε το νομοσχέδιο που κυρώνει την ελληνο-αλβανική συμφωνία για την κατασκευή νεκροταφείων για τους πεσόντες του αλβανικού μετώπου.

Η συμφωνία με την Αλβανία υπεγράφη στα Τίρανα στις 9 Φεβρουαρίου του 2009 και προβλέπει την αναζήτηση, εκταφή, αναγνώριση και θρησκευτικό ενταφιασμό των Ελλήνων στρατιωτικών που έπεσαν κατά την διάρκεια του πολέμου, σε νεκροταφεία που θα κατασκευαστούν στο έδαφος της γειτονικής χώρας.

«Ήμασταν χρεωμένοι με την δέσμευση αυτή, εδώ και 68 χρόνια. Οι επιφυλάξεις της αλβανικής κυβέρνησης ξεπεράστηκαν και τώρα εισηγούμαστε την ψήφιση του νομοσχεδίου αυτού», ανέφερε ο υφυπουργός Άμυνας, Κ. Τασούλας.
